CDROM Magazine from Very era???

#1 Post by seriously »

Hi everyone,

Back in the VERY era, I bought a CDROM "magazine" (in a box the size of a magazine, sold on UK news stands I believe) with PSB in orange/pointy hats (i.e. Can you forgive her??). The CDROM featured video interviews and other interactive PSB-related stuff I believe.

Does ANYONE remember this??? I can't find it online anywhere. Must be very rare. I do not have it anymore, unfortunately, just want to know if anyone else remembers it or has a picture.

What you are describing sounds like the Launch magazine series, but to my knowledge there was never a Pet Shop boys one. https://www.discogs.com/label/803832-Launch-Magazine

Thanks for your help James.

It was definitely similar to that cover, but there was no actual magazine. It was a thin box the size of a magazine that had the CD rom inside.

It was the coolest thing ever to use the CD rom. It was formatted similarly formatted to CD encyclopedias at that time

Sheep On Drugs! Wow! Saw them live in 1992. Proper hard industrial dance. I really liked them. Goth, Metal electronica. Bit like Nitzer Ebb turned up to twelve.
