I guess Tiesto or Calvin Harris is too popular on their own to work with them; I believe their image is strongly built on high charting fluffly pop songs backed up with hi-energy videos soaked up with sexy young boys and girls and they mostly work with teenage idols. PSB are too old and too leftfield? for them.

Why not a whole album with J.M. Jarre?

They weren’t suppose to have worked with Kanye West but his producer.
Kanye west loved the vinyl Factory s work the Yes art. He tweeted about it.

But Kanye is producing his own records, at least co-producing.

They need someone like Dua Lipa or Cardi B to collab with. And get a Joel Cory remix out of it.

They were after Jeff Bhasker who co-produced 808.... and co-wrote six of the songs on that album.
But he took ages to answer their request, and when he finally did, they had almost finished their album.

I still think another go at a Brian Eno collaboration could be interesting.

I have no idea who you're talking about but I guess it's a sign that you're talking about the contemporary top stars.

I usually am not one to think about speculative collaborations, but I'll indulge...

Maybe a twist on something already suggested. I think it would be fantastic if the Boys did production work with DM. DM is sorely in need of some fresh air, in my opinion, and I think the Boys, when they are in their darker and more aggressive sounds, would complement what DM does best.

In terms of songwriting, these are maybe out of left field but Nick Cave would be really interesting.

In terms of collaborative production, Peaches.

In terms of politics, ic3peak.

In terms of legacy: What if PSB gave some of their songs they don't care about to Bobby O to exploit and punish ad nauseam? It would be an epic act of performance art.

In terms of just Neil: Sting.

In terms of just Chris: Big Freedia. Or Bjork.

In terms of their fascination with the German scene: Blixa Bargeld.

In terms of WTF: Autechre.

In terms of diva, and maybe WTF: Amy Grant.

Now. Back to Reality. Hope it gave a laugh.

Well they haven't done a Moby collaboration, chance to throw some old blues and spiritual 78's into the mix as samples. He's back.
And at the end/ Your funny Uncle staring / At all your friends / With military bearing

Technically, Moby remixed one of their tracks, does that count?

I'm always pleasantly surprised at how many collaborations there are in the Dark Wave, Electro Goth scene.

It would be fun to see them team up with VNV Nation, Blutengel or Massive Ego. 😄

I absolutely second Klas Ahlund! I think he would give PSB an energized sound.
Not a new collaboration strictly speaking, but I've always wondered why Bernard Sumner has never appeared on a PSB record?

At this point in time, that's probably about the only collaboration I'd be interested in, unless they needed another guitar part from Johnny Marr or Bernard Butler to round off a tune again. Introducing anything else into the equation would just be "dragging down the average".

Retro. :)

My daughter would be all over a PSB and CardiB collaboration. She was really hyped up about her tweets about the Boys.
