She has a way (PSB 1992 mix)

#1 Post by astrocordoba »

Cicero has just published in his youtube channel his version of a Bobby´O song fully produced by Pet Shop Boys in 1992 (and with Sylvia Mason Janes). Amazing track.

Doesn't sound like a PSB production at all and it sounds cheaply made. Makes you love the original even more.

I think so, but now Cicero said in his facebook page that the mix was fully produced by PSB (it is not a demo): "Cheesy banger and still sounds good. Well it was the Pets who produced it after all."

The snares couldn’t be more PSB. Love it, actually.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

It's very catchy, very Very. :D

But it seems to me that it’s unmastered?
A blues would be in B flat, pain defining wisdom,
but the soul is in the high hat, programmed in the system.

It's been available online for many years, but I had forgotten all about it I must say. I like it all the more knowing it IS PSB. Sylvia's backing vocals are a bit of a give away I suppose. I like it, but yeah, definitely doesn't sound anything like PSB.

It is like a cross between Mr Vain and No Limit, early 90's dance stuff.
I quite like the chorus but not keen on the verses (spoken parts), nice tune though, love Cicero.
