I'll get straight on it... just as soon as I've sourced the instrumental (I don't do vinyl these days).Me too! It would be interesting to hear another version with just Neil's parts...Wouldnt be too hard to do with some music editing software

Re: Pet Shop Boys remix Paul Weller
I'm really impressed with the instrumental. So, according to the official news post (https://www.petshopboys.co.uk/news/2021 ... ix-out-now): "The PSB “Triad Remix” is twelve minutes long and features Chris Lowe’s keyboards". I wonder if all the sounds from Chris are all Midi that Chris programmed from home because of the pandemic? I can't tell if the music is "in the box" or from analogue synths. What does everyone think?

Not midi... but all software synths I assume.
I sold my analog synths a few years ago (Oberheim & Novation) as software synths are now damn good, and take up no room.

pretty sure its this guy.
on another note, its REALLY good and Neil sings over my favorite bits of the tune...the sort of moody trancy parts.

The more I listen to it I wish the weller dude was subtracted from the whole thing and it was just a PSB song, the moody segments are everything I love about the PSB and I wish they kept that for their own.

Has someone from Continental Europe already received the 12“ from the official Paul Weller Shop that was linked at the PSB-site? I‘m still waiting here in Germany.

So is the instrumental truly available via download when the vinyl is purchased? I haven't seen it floating around on the usual places yet.
Re: Pet Shop Boys remix Paul Weller
Yeah I was looking for it on Youtube this morning, it's not there. Very exclusive.
I feel like it must have been released by mistake. If this was advertised I probably would have preordered.
I've sent a private message with some info.
