Re: Discovery 1994 - DVD/CD-Release
My copy from the OS arrived here in Melbourne this afternoon, so only 2 weeks. I'm happy with that & can't wait to watch it.
Don’t be scared, for only the dark can show you the stars

Pretty good review. A fan. Here is his twitter post on the Pitchfork article. Is fan Nathan Smith amongst us?le petit corbusier wrote: ↑Mon 17 May 2021, 9:37 am https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/pe ... -rio-1994/

They haven't learnt with the packaging. Awkward to remove, almost inevitable you'll put fine scratches on discs too. My first one arrived with a damaged DVD it was that tight the plastic inside the disc had actually fractured like safety glass would. I'd rather pay 50p more for a proper plastic case than this 'solution'.
And at the end/ Your funny Uncle staring / At all your friends / With military bearing

Agreed. I bought a few 2 CD cases and pulled the discs from the packaging since I know I’ll listen to the show more often than watch anyway, and this way I can file the audio with my CDs rather than DVDs. Same with Inner Sanctum.Old Soak wrote: ↑Mon 21 Jun 2021, 6:56 pm They haven't learnt with the packaging. Awkward to remove, almost inevitable you'll put fine scratches on discs too. You would have to buy a special modded one.NotInvisible wrote: ↑Sat 23 Jan 2021, 3:18 pmSome do. But an NTSC DVD will be lower resolution than a PAL DVD.
