Lulz. A mark of their burgeoning back-catalogue quality even in 1994. They could have gone on for another hour or more, playing 40 songs plus in total, and there would be no discernible drop in quality.

I had this on VHS many moons ago and had forgotten just how saucy it is. As a straight male I find So hard so hard to watch and Can you forgive her dials it up to 11 but at least there are women too.
So much for an end to decadence.
The diary was quite interesting although I think it was in Literally previously. There were a few nutters pursuing them in Australia, weren't there?

Yeah both the diary and the interview were published in Literally (14 and 13 respectively)

Well, I suppose it is new to the general public i.e. the non-fanbase.

Oh so you now know how gay guys have felt watching hetero sexuality on stage and screen for decades!

I like this response, and so true. Speaking from a heterosexual male perspective. Personally no issue for me to watch whatsoever, but definitely saucy!!! Good on them for performing as they wish.

Going back to Literally 15 from which the Australian diary comes, the cover of that - and indeed of the final Very single - features an image of a straight-jacket. It's as if Discovery, and indeed this era in general, was their way of breaking out of their conventions and self-imposed restrictions.

As a straight male who went to Closer to Heaven back in 2001 and have a young Louie Spence gyrate right in front of me with nothing but his hot pants on, all I felt was that I was robbing the seat of someone who would appreciate it more!
