funko Pops

#1 Post by adi »

Funko vinyl Pops ( Bobble head figures from stage and screen and anything else they can get the rights to!) have done many music artists from Elvis,Beatles , Elton john Etc so do you think they would do Neil and Chris (pointy hat era would be the most iconic imho) as many on here would buy them i assume

Funny this

My youngest kid has recently got an addiction for these

While googling on his behalf for various Star Wars bobble heads over Xmas I did do a quick check for Pet Shop Boys also but no luck

I’d be first in line to buy if they did ...

I’d think heads from the Suburbia timeframe would be awesome. Neil with hair and Chris with those stripey sunglasses... oh yes!

you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

Save two for me too!!! :D
The "Nightlife" era would also look great in Funko Pop designs too!!
This is not my signature.

Would be hard to squeeze a pointy hat in the standard sized box though. A rounded Go West helmet would fit better...

I tried the online Funko pop yourself and made a passable 2020 Neil. Not able to post the pic I'm afraid right now but give it go!

OK here's the best I could do. The Chris one is most unflattering I know.

This has been mentioned before.

I think it's a good idea.
Looking at the list of artists they've done, PSB are iconic enough to qualify in my opinion.

Whether they'll do it though I'm not sure. The Pop culture characters they choose for Funko Pops seem to be ones that appeal to a certain kitschy type of social media followers.

Maybe it's be more likely to see them custom made by an enthusiast.
For those who don't know, Pop Vinyls have a low amount of detail and basically all use the same form. So it's not challenging to design new ones and there are thousands upon thousands of designs.

Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

Do Funko Pops have bobbly heads? Is THAT why they exist/people buy them?

From the ones I have, only the Star Wars characters seem to have the bobble heads along with a stand. All the rest are just swivel heads.

You can get blank Funko Pop figures that you can use to create your own characters. Anyone like to step up?
