*shrugs* Is anything actually new or fresh discussed at these events? I'd pay much more to hear Chris talk about his interests and influences.

Never gonna happen.
A good opportunity for me this as I didn’t go to the one in London - I live in Sheffield. Manchester is easily accessible.

Thanks leesmapman,

Hmmm... I am doubting to go or not. I will be in London for the 15th Sept concert and I could combine it to goto Manchester for the Oct 5th event and fly back from Manchester to the Netherlands the day after. Just not sure if this Conversations with Neil Tennant has the same content as the one before (in London?) that was broadcasted already. If the contents are the same it would only be worth the hassle -of travelling from London to Manchester and booking a hotel etc- for the signed copy of OHLAAP I guess. I still did not buy OHLAAP, but it can still be ordered everywhere (even on www.bol.com (the Dutch Amazon so to speak), just not signed, but so what?

Are you going?

Tangerine Dream. But we digress (a bit on topic: Ulrich Schnauss is a member of the band now)

Was this London one broadcast somewhere? Is there a video available? I'm going to the Manchester one and have no idea what the deal is. I'm assuming its an interview?

I bought a ticket for this and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I just got back from Italy and I’m exhausted and skint, and the cost of rail travel is getting crazy (£130 single from Gatwick back to Swansea). Factoring in the price of a hotel in Manchester as well, too much.
So if anyone definitely wants to go to this and wants a free ticket, please post your details before lunchtime today (Tuesday) and you should get it by the weekend. There’s a free book.

Apologies to Neil. If he did a talk thing in South Wales or Bristol I would definitely be there.

Update: The free ticket offer is now closed.

Andrewthomas100 :) - Please "do not" beat yourself up about it! We are in the same situation all the time when PSB "do anything". We live out in the sticks and transport is a joke here and I am disabled so, I wouldn't even try to go on the London Underground etc.. The last couple of concerts we have had to get Taxi's. That cost £200 for the two of us and it is most probably gone up now. Train travel is even more expensive and you have got to get to the station as well. So, we miss a lot of PSB things. The tickets to the concerts are cheaper than the travel.
