However this will turn out to be, you can bet this will get a CD release before the Turing Project out of spite.
This is a song about boys and girls. You hear it playing all over the world.

Why the hatred? This is excellent news! Four new PSB songs! It’s not like this little project is sidetracking the album campaign. And if people can’t stand Mrs. Barbers voice, just wait for the demos on the FL 2018-2020 in ten tears time 😀👍

Time will tell if any of this infects the new album, but, for now, it's possible to look at this as them compartmentalising their creative inclinations for the good of the new album. Agenda collected their more provocative, topical songs and spun them off Price 3 - and is artistically coherent as a result. This little side-project will hopefully quarantine their Dorothy-and-the-Munchkins-burn-Oz-to-the-ground tendency in a similar way to locking a hideously deformed love-child away in the basement and intermittently feeding it fish heads.

I'll say this for them, though. They are fantastically prolific. But that does demand an elevated level of quality control.

Yes, hopefully they learned from the mistake of blending together C2H and Nightlife (and in some ways Release too).

Wonder if these four new songs will emerge in their demo form on another EP? Seems to be a worthwhile method of releasing themed tracks that otherwise don't fit a full release.

As for The Turing Project there's already a more than acceptable live recording, sure only die hard fans would want it so ideal pre-order, pre-pay exclusive via the official website would ensure it doesn't make a loss and reward fans too.
And at the end/ Your funny Uncle staring / At all your friends / With military bearing

Let's hope so. I probably never need to hear Friendly Fire again, so just the new songs would be fine by me.
