ICH BIN MUSIK: Radio 2 have just played almost the whole track on the Alan & Mel show. Bloody good.
A good spot scousepsbfan, starts playing at around 2:17:20

Sounds great! Hope they put it on iTunes soon.

Surprisingly good. I have pretty low expectations for this latest off-piste frippery, but Ich Bin Musik is perky, vibrant, and deceptively throwaway. It's like Dusty let loose on lost Introspective backing tracks.

For somebody purporting to be German, Billie's pronunciation of "musik" is about as authentic as the Hitler Diaries, but we'll let that go. Superior grade trash.

Drico.

Not at all. Just channelling what some on this forum probably think anyway. I doubt many are exactly thrilled at the return of BT. Bit like an 18 year old corpse suddenly saying "and another thing..."

I like "ich bin musik" but it's not exactly sounding like an 70s disco stomper to me. It sounds much more contemporary, or more like 90s PSB perhaps.

I dont find it as stylistically diverse as the Boys purport it to be.

Ich Bin Musik is great. Shame I have zero interest in seeing a musical about Billie Trix. This will be the first thing they've ever done I simply can't be bothered to go and see, that said, for them, I hope it does well.

Is the snippet available to hear anywhere else? I don't have the BBC app.

Didn't Erasure do a cabaret a few years ago? In Edinburgh in 2014.

Yeah but I don't want to have to register. Anyway doesn't matter. I'll hear it at some point.
