OK I was going to wait and give other people a turn, but let's keep it moving
The Boy Who Couldn't Keep His Clothes On: latin flavoured disco mixed in with Neil's downkey commentary, it's fun and sits in a great batch of Bilingual B-sides. I always imagined the female intervention to be from the protagonists sister, but apparently it's the girlfriend? There's something slightly kitschy about this era, with tracks that are very warm and earnest but also lots of fun. In someways this album is more Neil's coming out than Very. I remember getting this single (with the terrific Red Letter Day and spikey Delusions of Grandeur) and playing it to death. Fun sweet vibes and quite a unique period for them.
