thanks telys!

If we exclude the last four (+ together) which supplemented a bigger release.... PSB don't seem to have a big habit for stand alone singles.

But they've had good success.... Absolutely fabulous, Streets, Always.... those three earned good exposure.

Wonder if they had a single with a chance of impact if they'd wouldn't rather making it an album lead?

But that's theoretical these days since its pretty hard to chart even with a decent track.....

I’m surprised they even bother with singles these days (but I’m glad they do).
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.

It would be lovely to think they would 'risk' a standalone EP or single this year, but I'd be surprised.

Whatever happened to The lost room? Recorded as part of Super with Pricey and not a sign of it. Don't think that's ever happened with a track properly recorded for an album.

The Years and Years one should be out this year.

But they have been conscious about releasing the singles in very different versions from the album version: think: Heart, Rent, Always on my mind, Domino dancing, LTMYD, It's alright, Being Boring, Yesterday...

what do you mean, of course for the longer songs off introspective, they were edits,
so those don't count.

but only some had 7" edits or remixes done, the vast majority were just like the album versions.

These days they seem to just go with basic edits that often ruin the track. I can't abide single edits done for I Get Along or Fugitive, nor 20-Something. I wish they would spend more time with the single edits like the used to. I don't like Undertow, but at least they played with it a bit.

Instead of a brand new single we'll likely get some daft remix with re-worked lyrics to go with the rest of the classic re-issues like Suburbia 2018 "blame the flat screen tv" and "stood by the uber stop with a cell phone in this suburban hell"
And tryin' to figure out what happened to 'Germaine Propaine'
"He couldn't have fell off that hard" Ain't no way
"What happened to the way you was rappin' when you was scandalous
That Canibus turned into a television evangelist"
Plus he raps with his regular voice [BOOSH! BOOSH!]
[BOOSH! BOOSH!] (What was that?) Pet Shop Boys
