For me the vocal style in "A cloud in a box" reminds me of the spoken part in "Left to my own devices" - album version.

the party animal phones a friend
Picks up news about the sun
and the working day has just begun

...and so on

Same. It is truly a sublime and intense track. Sounds best on a 'banging' sound system. It's too short though, wouldn't mind a lengthier intro/outro. Spoken verse needs to stay, it's what makes the track mysterious. LOVE!

Why are tracks like A Cloud in a Box and The Dead Can Dance relegated to B sides yet Groovy and Pazzo! are on the album..?? In fact if there is a Super special edition I have the title: Superior.

A Cloud in a Box reminds me of Faithless. I thought it was rather lazy that they used the same synth sound on The Dead Can Dance.

Indeed. And add The White Dress to this list and delete Happiness. Also start the album with Inner Sanctum.

Got to say I am really enjoying the Say It To Me single package. I also love that Stuart Price Alternative Version.

I thought that was intentional, I like the way it links the two tracks.

I agree with this too. A Cloud in a Box could easily replace Groovy or Pazzo! It's the best b-side from the Super era.

Easily the best b-side they have produced in ages, never mind the x2 era. Love the vocal and the beats - knocks the dead can dance out of the water. Reminds me of forever in love for some reason?!?
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.
