Probably down to a cookie issue. Make sure you haven't turned cookies off, or haven't made them usable for one session only. If that fails, I'd recommend clearing them.
Personally, I have cookies set for a single session only, so I always have to log in afresh every day.

i use an Opera browser...and the stupid thing hangs when i submit a post. so when i click the 'submit' button again(sometimes after making a modification)...the post gets displayed twice-first the original, the second with the...

we had major trouble with the admin section of the board and I didn't know why! The thing was, we only get errors on this forum during all was well on the German board.
I first was updating the version of the forum to 2.0.8 but it didn't help me with the errors :-(

I re-installed Internet Explorer because of a problem I had, and now I have to log in everytime I visit a forum, whilst before, I logged in automatically everytime. What do I have to do to turn things back to normal?

Did you use to save the usernames and passwords on your pc? As in, you typed in your username on the form, and then the password automatically appeared?
Also, what is the setting at the moment when you return to the privacy tab and press the Advanced button in the middle of the screen?

You can delete it, but only if no one has replied to it. Otherwise, you need to ask one of the admin team.
Even when noone has replied to it I find below it when it says you can... and the only you cannot delete... that´s strange to me. I´ll be careful when writing then. :?
