There WAS a 7 picture disc scheduled for release on 16/12/1985 as a push to get the song to number 1. This WAS NEVER released, even though there was a catalogue number.
The song made it to number one a couple of weeks later anyway.

I think so. There was to be three new songs on it, Positive role model, SEB, and a cover version of an old song produced by Peter Rauhoffer (don't remember which) but the cover didn't work with Neil's voice, then they decided to scrap the project because they felt they hadn't earned another hits...

Sting was two years above Neil at St Cuthberts. Jimmy Nail would have been in the same year as Neil at St Cuthberts had he passed his 11 plus,however he failed it and attended the Catholic secondary modern school instead.

The story with the Introspective clear 3x12 was that Esprit got 10 copies all at once and the seller said they were in the warehouse ready to be dumped. But, just because Esprit got 10 copies, doesn't mean they were the only copies.
