Re: I go up, up, up.. I go down, down, down/O2 classic moments

Does anyone else rate this track?? I do as well. It's my fave of the Yes 'b-sides/other tracks'. It has definitely become one of my favorite ever b-sides along with the resurrectionist. I never tire of hearing them both - especially up and down as I often program it as my first 'random' song on my ...

Re: US release for Christmas ep?

Yes, you're correct andmaste. However, New York city boy was the lead-off single from the album here. I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more was the second and last single from the album (hence the year 2000 release date).

Re: After The Event Synth

“I Wouldn’t Normally Do This Kind Of Thing” features the ‘finger snap’ sound. “A Different Point Of View” uses the M1’s choir patch “The Theatre” also features one of the many choir related presets to be found in the M1. Other Pet Shop Boys songs which feature the M1 include: “Where the Streets Hav...

Re: US release for Christmas ep?

Wasn''t New York city boy released after I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more? Yes, but not here in the States. I don't know what you want but I can't give it any more was released far after New York city boy as a unique release with exclusive mixes from Young Collective and Pete...

Re: Pet Shop Boys - Party - (2009) (Just bought it)

For Paninaro, the booklet lists the sound recording credit from 1995 - to me that was a conscious move on EMI's part. They willing provided and approved that mix, although chronologically wrong. As for the 10" mix? Laziness in quality control. But hey! It does feature a unique, PSB release in ...

Re: Chris and the vanishing Ring

Personally, I wear a huge band on my ring finger and I'm neither engaged nor married. In a way, it's really used as a deterrent because I've just come off a big separation with my GF and the dissolution of our family. I probably won't have any interest in dating for a LONG time and to me the ring, ...

Re: Pet Shop Boys "not ready to quit yet"

They will have to dust off Cerys Matthhews again! She was shit. I don't care if she had just learned the song that day. Get someone completely different, with a beautiful voice - say... Adele. Or not. Seeing how she's not "a fashionable" singer, fan favorite or a buzz magnet - Like Cerys ...

Re: Did you see me coming?? at #1 on Billboard Dance Chart!

I guess you would be happy if PSB released John Cage's 4'33" and made it to number 1 as well. Until at least 1, just 1 person can say they've heard this song, or a mix of this song in a club, EVEN a gay club, then this is completely meaningless. Politely said, you shouldn't assume anything abo...

Well, isn't always cool to dis pop artists? It certainly was the later half of the 80's.

And where is Doctor Robert now? He should've paid closer attention to the Boys. He might have had a longer run than he did.
