Re: Spinning vinyl

Total nonsense.

I am bored of "content" for isolation's sake.

Re: It Couldn’t Happen Here June 2020 Release Confirmed

Thanks Deekay. This is the cheapest I’ve seen it online (£16.99) and it’s free postage for U.K. buyers. The other shipping options also seem good value... although curiously it lists New Zealand and not Australia. :? I'll shortlist this link, because the £10 postage charge to Australia if buying it ...

Re: Annually 2020 + Free CD

Although things from the store usually arrive here in Melbourne in a reasonable time, I seem somewhat cursed when it comes to Annually. Fingers crossed for all of us still waiting!

Never had a UK number three. Interesting.
Yet, ironically, their most recent trilogy of Stuart Price albums was a hat-trick of #3 placings.

Re: Fundamental Instrumental leaked

Greetings, On a related note, Pet Shop Boys have put Hotspot on Bandcamp, which allows you to download the file in any number of formats, including my favourite digital format, FLAC. Perhaps they could be convinced to use Bandcamp a bit more extensively, as it's a great platform used by a lot of ind...

Re: Review: the most common thought from a non PSB fan about the PSB discography

Greetings, Except ego music, hold on, early stuff, catastrophe, most of bilingual, integral (album version), and legacy are great. It's fine as a fan to say that, but I'm sure even if you surveyed fans, you would find that most of these (Integral aside) were well and truly in the bottom half of the ...

Greetings,

Interesting to hear the perspective of a non-fan... what resonates with them, what doesn't, and why.

Gender can be so fluid these days.
It can, but what's the relevance to music production? I mean, does it really make difference all other things being equal?
Agreed - just keep the fluid off the technology, tech and fluid do not mix.

what this song really needs is an extended version of the album mix, what it definitely didn't;t need - as it's already relatively short and throwaway was a radio edit.
It's a pretty repetitive song though... not a lot happens.

Re: Bring him back - I know who I want to produce the next album

Greetings, The Boys are constantly about the here and now. In that case, they should get the producer of Jesus Jones' "Right Here, Right Now".... Martyn Phillips. 8) He's produced some great stuff over the years, and what he managed to do with Erasure's sound on the Chorus album, compared to all the...

Re: 4th single off Hotspot - I Don't Wanna

Greetings, Or you could try an independent online record shop such as Norman Records (not used them) https://www.normanrecords.com/cloudsearch/index.php?q=pet+shop+boys+i+don%27t+wanna I've used them a bit in the past in the early 2000s. They were good then, and I assume they still are. As for the r...
