Re: Queer The Music

Re: Queer The Music

Neil's a storyteller. I was raised by one. There's no story isn't improved with a bit of embellishment and we mostly love to hear it. It was probably word by word at the very worst, most likely line by line or even verse by verse.

Re: "Covers": a big dilemma for PSB

Motown and SAW/PWL churned out a lot of drivel in between the good hits. Throw enough sh!t at the wall, etc etc etc....

Re: "Covers": a big dilemma for PSB

Chris also 'said' in PSB vs America that they were going to do a stage musical based on different cheeses but I'm not going to hold them to it, much as I'm sure I'd enjoy it.

Re: "Covers": a big dilemma for PSB

A lot of people have no idea that Go West (or Tainted Love, It Must Be Love, Nothing Compares 2U, etc etc etc etc) are covers. There's an art to 'making a song your own'. Anyway, if it's so easy to write hits, we'd all be doing it. If we're doing supposition, I'm sure they're very happy with how ...

Re: The fifth single

Right, so I've been wracking my brain as to why one line in All The Young Dudes was triggering an unpleasant repressed memory. Because 'speed jive, don't wanna stay alive, when you're 25' was used in one of the famously disturbing Northern Ireland road safety television adverts. Generations of young ...
