Re: Elton John foundation: signed back catalogue

Re: Unofficial items

Seen worse tbh. The biggest shocker is the price of it. £31 for that? The Boys will be fuming, they missed a winter money spinner.

Online? I would say Discogs. P&P can be saucy at times if you're only buying one item from a seller.

Who edited the first draft of the OT, I wonder?

They should be sacked....
Someone at Faber & Faber....they're blaming the dodgy postal service in Jerusalem for St Luke's signed copies not being despatched in time for Christmas....

Re: Neil Tennant announces new book

^^^^^ Probably easier to get your hands on the first draft of the Old Testament than a signed copy of 'One Hundred Lyrics and a Poem' ; )

Re: Neil Tennant announces new book

All these stories about delayed/cancelled/missing deliveries and orders......it's as if mail order never existed. Seems easier to just refund an unhappy purchaser than to actually fulfil an order.

Re: PSB & Tracey

Tracey's alright but I'd prefer them to collaborate with someone more interesting and contemporary... m+ I always think that's a bit band-wagon jumping and desperate. Older established acts such as the Boys getting involved with Years & Years is like Madonna hitching her wagon to the latest twentys...

Re: Electric Box

So many APs....someone needs to explain the actual purpose of an 'AP' to the powers that be at the Vinyl Factory. You can have as many APs as you want but they shouldn't be included in a numbered run of a product. It totally defeats the point of a limited run of a product.

Re: Electric Box

Typically speaking, an artist's proof doesn't usually have a number after it. Reading the item above would suggest it was the 28th artist proof of an edition of 350. Not saying it's not legit but it reads a bit awkwardly. I can't imagine they produced 350 artist proofs which is what that numbering i...
