Re: Being Boring At 30

Yeah, always wished for a proper studio version of the Nightlife tour mix. There is a sort of version on Youtube from the projection film but the vocal is really low.

Re: Being Boring At 30

Thirty years ago when this came out, I was in my third year at university in the States. Some friends and I had gone to New Orleans for spring break. The video came on while we were in one of the gay bars in the French Quarter. I am pretty sure it was Cafe Lafitte in Exile, but time has passed so d...

Being Boring At 30

With the 30th anniversary of the release of Behaviour this week, it's 30 years since I first heard Being boring and it has remained my all time favourite song ever for all this time. I still listen to it fairly frequently and still see it as the high point of PSB's output. I still get the odd shiver...

I've got the image in newspaper form framed on my wall. It was used in the Discography campaign. NME Issue dated 9th November 1991. Had it originally at the time but it went brown so went on ebay recently and found it again. There are some copies on ebay still.

Re: Single versions

Best single versions: Suburbia, It's alright, Memory of the future. Worst single versions: Yesterday when I was mad (love this mix but the album version is far superior), Single-Bilingual (the start always sounds very sloppily sliced from the album to me) and, of course, Integral. I remember after M...

Re: Choose the 5 th single (if there is a new one)

The interview with Ralph Moore a few months ago implied that the 'Hotspot era is not over' so I think we will be getting either a new single or a Disco-style album or both. It could well be a limited edition through the website thing like Undertow. Personally, I think they'll spend the next few mont...

Actually, the whole of One Thing Leads To Another is brilliant, and the demo knocking round on Youtube with the original lyrics in 'order'.

Re: Just listened to Relentless - it's not very good

Relentless is definitely a product of it's time. It sounded amazing when it came out. I didn't own a CD player so I cassette taped a copy of a mater and wore it right out. Already mentioned I think but there are 3 totally spine tingling moments on this album: the drop in Forever in Love, the last mi...
