What a bunch of unpleasant people you are. You could've just politely explained what this slang expression means so that non native speakers of english can follow the discussion in a satisfactory way.

Re: Audience applause/acclaim effects in studio tracks

The common Internet person's constant inability to highlight two words they are curious about and their meaning when combined, then selecting "Search Google for 'innit, bruv'" from the menu that pops up in order to assist in the curiosity, will never ever cease to amaze me. What would I G...

It's a Brechtian manifestation of the mechanical nature of performance, both the song and the meaning of the song - innit, bruv?

Most of the other releases on that label are unofficial - it would not come as a surprise if this were also a bootleg.

Re: Albums played live

True, but we would never get an 11 minute version of BB or 10 minute full version of West End girls etc in a greatest hits show. And what's the point for us hardcore fans with a greatest hits show... that's for the proles... Not if they play So Hard, or DJ Culture, or Flamboyant, or I’m With Stupid...

Re: In the night "diskette"

This is obviously not 3,5 inches (1,44Mb) diskette. May be something more special. The capacity of Magneto Optical disks can be measured in gigabytes, not megabytes - certainly these days. Editing to add a link to this review of a piece of studio kit that uses an MO disk in recording. I'm not sayin...

Re: Now 7 on CD

As far as I can tell from the (extensive) comments on superdeluxeedition.com, none of the six new CD versions has replicated the original tracklistings i.e. every single new Now has different (more common) versions of songs from those originally included. I would therefore be extremely surprised if ...

That's because of indie (guitar rock) snobbery.
