Re: PSB EDINBURGH MUSICAL SHOW

Mongrel and Soup are cringeworthy. Ich bin Musik is too repetitive and the non-German pronunciation of Musik makes no sense to me. The songs are extracts from a show performed in character. Something like Soup isn't meant to be dropped into a playlist; it's supposed to be cringe, because Billie Tri...

Re: PSB EDINBURGH MUSICAL SHOW

Bought the digital EP and must say I'm a bit disappointed. Loved C2H and Billie Trix in it, but passed on the Run Girl Run CDS when it was for sale at the initial C2H show. Never 'got' that song. For every moment is the only standout track for me. Mongrel and Soup are cringeworthy. Ich bin Musik is ...

Re: The musical that just won't die ;)

Just went to see C2H. Chris was in the audience, didn’t dare to do more than compliment him with the production after the show. He just smiled and said it had nothing to do with him (well he wrote the songs, which was also my stupid fan reply...). Don’t think many others recognized him without cap a...

Re: The musical that just won't die ;)

Great, although Positive role model is an excellent PSB song, it indeed was not the ideal closing song for the musical (that was what I thought when I saw the original one in 2001).

Does the new production include Vocal like the previous one?

Looking forward to going in 2 weeks :)

Re: A new decade a new phase: 20's

Hit records dont exist anymore anyway. Nearly everything we grew up with has dissapeared. No more proper top 40. Its just some hashed up list of whats been streamed the most. No more TOTP's, no proper singles packages, no videos. Well, tell that to Rammstein, Adele or Pink. Massive hit songs still ...

Re: The musical that just won't die ;)

Interesting that there is nothing about this new C2H production on the OS, although they did post about it on social media. Maybe they don’t want to interfere with the ‘official’ MUSIK production?

As much as I like Barber, I do prefer the full musical to just a few jongs.

Re: Today I listened to Elysium for the first time since 2012...

To my memory, Behaviour was shit when it came out, the teaser track, "So Hard", was a big lie too. It grows through the years thanks to its commercial failure. Having said that, Hold On and Ego Music are really awful. I was also hugely disappointed when Behaviour came out. I very much liked So Hard...

Re: Why vinyl? My first PSB-CD

My first CD ever was a PSB one, the CD single of Heart. I did not own a CD player myself, I was 15 at the time, but my parents just got one. It certainly was a premium format back then with premium prices, but CD singles had the same price as 12" vinyl with the same content or even more. Since, I al...

Tickets in the pocket for the Above the Stag Theatre show.
I’ve seen the original production in 2001 and like this musical, and it’s a good excuse for a London visit :)

So the Dreamland is coming for the new album

Re: New EP in April: Agenda

The vinyl edition's cover and inner sleeve are glossy, for the rest it's nothing special designwise. Just looks nice: http://i68.tinypic.com/6z4pwm.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/1f7jog.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/fa0swh.jpg It's only £7.99 on amazon.co.uk, for that price it's a bargain if you're into vi...

Coverage on TV? In what parallel universe do you live?
I did hear Stupdity on the radio and the Agenda release was covered in one of our national newspapers.

Re: Reissues project

Like vinyl a lot but for me it’s total nostalgia. I want the CD too for the best sound quality, and I want to own my music so streaming is not my thing.

The current vinyl hype is just a hipster thing. It’ll pass. In 10 years it’s nostalgia for CDs, mark my words 🙂
