Re: The sound of those old machines
The warmth has disappeared as everyones now got rid of tape. Everything now are wave files etc.. I think the B sides in the last 15 years sound like basic sequencing done by Pete. They are too boxy and simple and enough to sound like a demo. Cricket Wife is an example of this. Bland demo style fake ...

Re: Do you expect a fifth single (and probably last) from Nonetheless in December?
I would have loved at least some reworkings of songs from the album when released as a single. Suburbia being the first, Heart (the reverse happened), Devices, Alight, Seriously, Jealousy, I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing, Red Letter Day, Integral, All Over The World and probably Memory Of ...

Re: Track-by-Track: From Please to Nonetheless
For 'To Face The Truth', when I first bought the album on CD, the week of release back in 1990, it became my favourite song on the album. The Major Minor scale was a first for them and it was something completely fresh they'd tried at the time. It sounded 'black' and soulful with those organ chords ...

So I believe This must be the place I waited years to leave was originally a backing track for a song they were working on for the James Bond The Living Daylights film back in 1987x though they re-produced it again with a new melody which became TMBTP.

Re: Track-by-Track: From Please to Nonetheless
I remember when I bought Behaviour on CD, the most commercial song that struck out for me was 'How Can I Expect...' with it's bouncy swing beat that the casual fan would find it fun and easily accessible to their ears. If this was released before the album as tbe second single, I'm pretty sure it ...

Re: New Single 'Feel'
Im so glad Feel is the 4th single. Probably my favourite song on the album. I think the edit/intro could have had the chorus line to start it off. Also would have been great if they had remixed /reworked it slightly from the album version. Also I was hoping for some Remixes for this single. May see ...

Stuart Price Trilogy Top/Worse 5 (2013-2020)
Hey All, As an era comes to an end, I thought It would be great to reflect on the Trilogy as a whole and pick the Top 5 best combined songs from Electric, Super & Hotspot. (or any other B sides produced by Stuart Price). I wouldn’t add any PSB produced B-sides during this era or side projects. My F ...

Definitely a highlight on Hotspot.
I could listen to this repeat for sure.
The Interlude music instrumentation reminds me of the Intro to ‘Love Is Bourgeois Construct’.

Hi from a new member
Hi all, My name is Kaykay. A british asian born and breed in Leicester but then moved to London about 15 years ago. I first got into Pop music in and around late 1987 (aged 13), listening to the acts of the time via Top Of the pops. I then noticed early December, an act I had heard of called the Pet ...
