Re: Name the next Pet Shop Boys album

I’m out of guesses. However, I’m still keen on that album Neil “threatened” (sarcastically) to make called “Slush”... consisting of the most slow, unbearably OTT PSB ballads imaginable :)

Re: Good review of PSB in Marbella (video)

The new anthemic/slow mix of “Heart” is wonderful.

Regardless, I like it! :)

Re: Latest Neil Interview (Includes New Album Talk..)

Regardless of one’s personal politics, the PSB have definitely let the political climate of the day influence their songwriting, their albums.

Exhibit 1:

“Actually” and Thatcherism. Would “King’s Cross” have ever been written in a different political climate?

Re: Expectations

nonetheless, i love Bourgeois, Dictator and even Hold on. Totally agreed with these tracks! And so glad that I've found someone else who loves Hold On! I think it's fantastic but boy are we in the minority on that one! I like “Hold On”, and I’m not ashamed to admit it! Also: The non-vocal mix...

Both went down to 28 and 32 respectively in their second week. According to your stat above, both must have sold over 10k for those 2nd week positions. I know ...

After all the “electric guitar” and amplified vocals just reek of traditional folksy authenticity :( -Zog
