Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
It's hard to fault the setlist but do agree with the earlier comments that Love etc. is missing. If we take the first 16 tracks from Discography, Can You Forgive Her? and Go West as set in stone, that's 18 tracks. Losing My Mind and I'm Not Scared (the glaring omission for me - anthemic, imperial an...

Re: Dreamworld - The Greatest Hits tour - reviews
Another five-star review from The Times: Pet Shop Boys review — a euphoric night of pop bangers ★★★★★ To think that at the start of their career Pet Shop Boys didn’t really play live, first touring in 1989, four years after their first hit. Now, though, their shows feel like the most Pet Shop Boyish...

It sounds a bit Monty Python too.Sandy Shaw wrote: ↑Mon 23 May 2022, 9:48 am You're welcome, I Shazamed it there and then! For those who weren't there, it's a rather downbeat version, not particularly happy! Maybe the venue's choice...

I wouldn't be surprised if they chose it though - it worked really well as an adieu.

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
My highlights were: Streets, which throbs and pulsates, taking the momentum from the first three songs into Boystown. Rent, possibly their greatest melody. Love Comes Quickly, anthemic. Vocal, despite not being a 'greatest hit', is such a banger. What have I done to deserve this?, the new girl does ...

Yes, the sound is great and adding the band from Inner Sanctum onwards has really reinvigorated their live performances with - let's not be blunt - youthful energy.

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
Great reviews upthread. I was at Manchester last night but high up right near the back. Couldn't see a lot due to the screens not being very big or zoomed in... most of the time Neil and Chris didn't look an awful lot bigger on the screens than looking at them with my own eyes! Nearly everyone in t...

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
Here are a few of my observations/spoliers from last night in Manchester: * Dreamworld is an incredible two hours of music, nostalgia and unadulterated pleasure. * It sounds great * It is visually great * The first few songs (and last two) are incredibly intimate - maybe it was because I was close ...

Re: Dreamworld: Spoilers
Went to see the boys in Amsterdam yesterday and it was really a terrific show, euphoric and moving. Neil was in good voice and seemed to be enjoying himself thoroughly. I thought the setlist was pretty much perfect. Actually, with this choice of singles, I thought the setlist was less predictable a...
