Re: Chris in Adidas Spezial/CP Company Campaign.
What a great shooting. If Chris ever released a solo project, any of those pictures would make a stunning cover artwork.

Re: Nonetheless - Expanded Edition
Disagree. I’m thinking now that produced by Stuart Price, but with orchestra, would have been ideal. Thanks entirely to the Dudes/West End girls mixes with the Manchester Camerata released this month. Wildly disagree, Price is a hack producer. Ford is the real deal. How can you or anyone tell? ...

Re: Nonetheless - Expanded Edition
There's a lovely warmth to the demos. I found the final album grandly austere to the point of coldness, so the release of the demos allows a different perspective of these songs. Drico. I undestard that sentiment. Even if I loved the album, now listening to the demos I wonder if James Ford was the ...

Re: James Ford
So now that we've heard the demos it's safe to say that James Ford enhanced and polished the final songs, but sacrificing the more electronic elements from the demos. Was it worth it?

Re: Nonetheless - Expanded Edition
Adrenaline is cute but I understand it didn't add much to the album having Feel or Why am I dancing already.
The dark end of the street is a better cover than ATYD. The last minute is just what I expected of a James Ford produced album when they first announced it.
Going to listen to the demos now.

Re: PSB open Strictly Come Dancing 16/11/24
Sorry, I don't understand this kind of short chopped medleys. It's too short and unlistenable on it's own. Not sure that it will end up on streamings like the MTV one. But I agree that the whole performance is rather good. Very cool for PSB. 2009 Brits medley is pure perfection. Maybe they'll ...

Re: PSB open Strictly Come Dancing 16/11/24
I actually shed a tear. It was really good. I'm getting increasingly anxious they're going to retire next year. I don't want them to. I had this feeling for all 2024. The apparent "funeral" symbolism of Nonetheless and Loneliness covers, some lyrics of the album, the constant reminiscences of their ...

Re: PSB @ MTV EMA
Beautiful staging but I can't understand why would they play a cover when receiving an award for their own career, even if its their current single. A medley like the Brits 2009 was the obvious option, maybe too obvious I guess.

Re: PSB open Strictly Come Dancing 16/11/24
I wonder which song will they form. Neither NLB or ATYD seem the best option for a "spectacular performance" with dancers.

Re: Track-by-Track: From Please to Nonetheless
Track 53 : The End of the World Behaviour Further Listening Disc 1 - Track 9 Speaking of the end of the world (but please don't!), here is a more manageable teenage drama. I quite like it, but it seems others would prefer Miserablism in this spot. Indeed. The end of the world it's cute with its ...

Re: The fifth single
Boy Harsher have uploaded on Instagram a small video they made for their remix. They seem really thrilled and honoured, judging by the text. And it shows. Great version that deserves radio play. https://www.instagram.com/p/DCEnYnnN5Jv/?igsh=MTF0NnZsbjd1N3U3dw== Simple yet beautiful. I wouldn't mind ...

Re: The fifth single
As far as I'm concerned ATYD Delinquent version is the main mix of this cover. Richard X Edit is fine for radio I guess but the instrumental intro of the Richard X longest mix is where it shines. Overall not one of their finest covers anyway. NLB Boy Harsher remix is cute, retro yet contemporary ...

Re: James Ford
I like Decide, but it was specific to the Brexit moment. I know it's pure Kitsch, but Wedding sits ok with me as an airy flourish at the end of a mostly sombre album. So what? I'm with stupid, I get along and Integral were also political songs linked to very specific events or politicians, and yet ...

Most definitely! I'd say there's even a chance we get a visual treatment for All the young dudes as well.Steve Fett wrote: ↑Fri 25 Oct 2024, 5:07 am does anyone know if we will get a video to 'New London Boy' ?
