A lot better than those chopped vocals remixes that doesnt add a thing other than mixing an existing track of the remixer with bits and chips...that should be penalized
Totally agree. To prove a point, I did my own fake-trendy-DJ remix  :D https://youtu.be/yri2jGsUuVs

Re: Burning The Heather Remix

Hey, thanks for all the replies. "you also upturned neils vocal on I'll consider "staying" - actually I just took the "aying" from "paying" and replaced the "aying" from "Staying" :) "It’s a decent upbeat remix that still keeps the melancholy of the original." - upbeat & melancholic - how the PSB us...

Re: Burning the heather

This made me feel sad. Not because of the lyrical content, but because of the sub-Beautiful People feel they've gone for.
I'm sure there's a good song hidden in there somewhere.

Re: Was That What It Was? Reggae Remix

I listened to International Observer's House Of The Rising Dub: very interesting. A nice mix of dub reggae and synths :)

Was That What It Was? Reggae Remix

Hi! I'm not really a Reggae fan but occasionally I try to make my own. I got stuck working on a new track when I realised it had the same chords and key as the chorus of Was That What It Was? So I remade my track to fit the WTWIW melodies, messed around with the vocals, and even if you don't like Re...

I hope to have a remix of Sound Of The Atom Splitting eventually. It's complete in my head, but I've done no actual work on it yet :D

Pet Shop Boys - Do I Have To? (Fairymatic Trippytale mix)

Hello. After 29 years of trying to remix Do I Have To? and it sounding crap, I finally turned a corner by doing it in the style of Jam & Spoons Trippomatic Fairytale mix of Young Offender. It's over ten minutes long, but it doesn't get boring (I think it's too short :D ) I'd love to know what PSB fa...

Re: Larry Limpwrist - Tweets and ''new PSB songs''!

oh I'm sure thats true.but if memory serves me correct, the person who is doing this got on their nerves and they did something to him which is why he seems to be on a mission to do things like this. it was talked about before on this site. I dont remember exactly what the story was though. Are you...

Re: "PET SHOP BOYS"

The only remaining pet shop in Ealing I can find is here

This was a pet shop, but now it's empty & for sale.

I wonder if it was either of those?

Re: Pet Shop Boys are back on Twitter - well not quite!

It could be a double bluff, but Nathan Tweeted to me and @outoutout that ''I'm just a bit jealous I didn't think of using proper lyrics when I did Bjorn & Terinenan. Sigh!'' Also he Tweeted to AskDarrenhayes ''Would you ever put out a not-quite-good-enough song on Youtube under an anonymous pseudon...

Re: Being Boring 800%

Wow this is amazing. Thanks for doing this. As someone said earlier, it's amazing how the sound hasn't broken up whilst being stretched so much. It would sound ace as the backing for a deep house track.

Young Offender - Jam & Spoon remixes mashup

Hi I was listening to Remix No2 of Young Offender by Jam & Spoon and realised there were too many sections that repeated themselves, so I set about doing an edit, looping the beats over the accapella sections and adding accapellas to the instrumental sections. I then mixed in some of the Tripomatic ...
