Re: What do you think Neil and Chris think about their fans?

They don’t know what we want but they can’t give it anymore.

Just imagine if things had turned out differently with a Dave and Chris synth duo. Both standing around not doing much :D

Re: Greatest PSB hits according to YouTube

Oh, but they do? Haven't you heard? I know. One of the sad things about the world today. In my youth you made excited trips to the record shop for new releases, went on days out to big cities to pick up rarities and were thrilled when you found one, socialised with friends face to face. Now people ...

Thanks for that. I never knew that they invited Shep to produce some tracks on Actually.

Interesting to hear the love for A-Ha’s The Living Daylights here. It always sounded rather phoned in to me.

Get away with you. Off the top of my head I can think of at least four that are better.

Re: Stephen Hague Podcast

I’ve finally finished the third part. I thought Stephen was remarkably gentlemanly and professional after recounting the tale of what a dick Vince was shaking Bob Kraushaar’s hand and thanking him for all his hard work on the album, whilst completely blanking Stephen.

Re: PSB are quieter than usual

I might be proved totally wrong by a surprise big announcement, but I get the impression Neil and Chris are rather fixed in terms of some of their thinking around planning. As in although they’ve undoubtedly been working on new material, they’re sticking to plan A of getting the Dreamworld greatest ...

Re: PSB are quieter than usual

I mean really, the last big thing was in 2019. We're almost in 2022. Remember the excitement of Decide, reading that it has Chris vocals and he actually sings. Remember all the Hotspot radio promotion. That was all 2 years ago. I know it seems like forever ago, but Hotspot came out in January 2020....

Re: Stephen Hague Podcast

It’s interesting learning just how much input these producers had into the records we love. Steve Lipson wrote the bassline for Left to My Own Devices. Stephen Hague wrote the intro chords of West End Girls and played every part on the record.

Re: Do you think PSB took their aesthetic from The Sparks?

I saw The Sparks Brothers at the cinema last night. I thought that the comment about Neil was an unnecessary cheap shot. Apart from that I really enjoyed the film. I was afraid it might drag on a bit, but it didn’t at all. There are a lot of similarities between the two groups: * They’re both male d...

Re: Hating PSB

To my ears Neil’s voice seems to have got a bit thinner and more nasal over the years, in a way it wasn’t up to and including Behaviour. I know like everything else our voice changes with age.
