Re: Momento Mori
I love Ghosts Again but haven’t heard the album yet. We know that PSB hate to be lumped in with contemporaries. They like to exist in their own word and carve their own niche. So I am sure they would have had serious reservations about sharing a producer with Depeche Mode, especially at a time when ...

Re: Lost
Dog, I’ve also made my own Further listening playlists in chronological order based upon completion dates from “Literally.” GREAT job with this! Here’s my Hotspot one for completeness… Let me know if you have anything different! 1. New boy 2. The forgotten child 3. What are we going to do about the...

Re: Lost
Using the completion dates from Neil’s Literally diary to put them in chronological order, a Super “Further Listening” style playlist including the new Lost tracks would look something like this: 1. One-hit wonder 2. The dead can dance 3. A cloud in a box 4. The white dress 5. Kaputnik 6. Wierderse...

Re: Will the psb be retiring?
At some point maybe the´ll be considering a retirement. if everything goes fine and they´re in control of the situation..first from live gigs..later for recording new releases..but I don´t think that will be a surprising retiremetm after just "one more" album. We´ll know when a tour is th...

Re: Was it worth it?
Did they ever played this song live in it's dance form like in the original version ? i know they played it on Release tour but in different version. What about concert in the video was it on tour or only for video purpose ? They played it at their Heaven and Hacienda shows in 1991 and 1992. The vi...

Re: New Album!
You never know, this could be the first Pet Shop Boys’ full band record, pulling in the Dreamworld musicians. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Well Release was their first full band album - Bic Hayes and Mark Refoy on guitars and bass and Jodie Linscott on percussion. Plus the guitars from Johnny...

Re: New Album!
The songs on Spirit were poor - nothing wrong with the production.Gary1962 wrote:James Ford producing, that is a concern, the work he has done with Depeche Mode has been awfu.

Re: New Album!
I reckon Depeche Mode are a red herring here. PSB would only use the same producer at the same time as such a contemporary if they were doing something markedly different. While Ford is obviously an electronic producer, he also has other depths, alluded to in the photo, and I suspect PSB are tapping...

Re: New Album!
Well this is exciting! I wonder if it'll be ready for release before the end of the year. Looking back at Annually, they started recording Hotspot 14 months before it came out (Nov 2018 - Jan 2020). They had originally planned for it to appear in 2019 which would have suggested more like a 12 month...
