Likewise. I'd like to hear a Neil demo of Ich Bin Musik on a Further Listening disc one day but that'd do me.

Re: Periodic Table of Synthpop compilation track list?

Greetings,

Unless you’re just a casual consumer of all things PSB, I’ll guarantee you’ll already have everything on this.

They have sometimes interesting stuff like the instrumental version of it could'nt happen here.

I'm guessing that wasn't official. Someone did a very accurate ...

Greetings,

Interesting. This "Superchumbo Superextended Mix" was the one originally exclusive to Beatport, if I remember correctly.

Re: OUT TODAY: Innocent Money (Pet Shop Boys Remix Dub)

G'day Stormy,

Thanks for finding this. Have you bought it to listen? Is it just an instrumental version of the full 5.40 version, or different beyond that?

Thanks in advance.

Greetings,

"25/04/25 discomfort" pumped up to a new peak, lol.

Lol. Good one.

I will say this. I'm thankful in this day and age we can cherry pick audio files of "collaboration tracks" and purchase those in isolation rather than needing to buy (and in many cases import) the physical product ...

Re: New PSB remix of Tina Turner

Greetings,

I've had a listen a few more times and I've decided that this is absolutely brilliant. Best thing I've heard all year. I've already listened to it more times than ploddy old Controversial.

Leftfield as f***

Re: The Hidden Cameras “How Do You Love? (Pet Shop Boys remix)

Greetings,

Crazy that on the same day 2 PSB remixes can be released that are polar opposites, this one top notch classic PSB effortlessly taking the original track to another level and the other, yee Gods what were they thinking! I wouldn't be at all surprised if the TT track was suddenly pulled ...

Greetings,

Oooh... very leftfield, very 80s... and we managed to get 4 minutes and 26 seconds in until the obligatory "Chris Lowe 90's snare roll" makes its first appearance.

Good solid mix but there's something about this guy's vocals I just cannot abide.

Re: The Noise (theme for ITV music program)

Greetings,

Strip away the complex minor chord synth pads and that had a lot more disco potential than most of what they recorded in the latter half of the 90s.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: If COVID never happened

Greetings,

As it relates to Dreamworld specifically, I have always envisaged this "greatest hits" tour as their touring swan-song. I think all the pandemic did was delay its commencement, and potentially push out its finale.

It'd be an easy bump into the USA market for them - to work with her

Would it, though? Maybe if they went on the show, but just collaborating on a song wouldn't do anything. The last RuPaul track to trouble the US market was over 30 years ago.

Yes. It seems it would be an untimely ...

Re: NONETHELESS - The reviews of the members of Pet Shop Boys Community

Greetings,

Yes, Super is down there at the bottom of the table in Release / Nightlife territory for me.

Into Thin Air and Sad Robot World are nice enough, but the only "hi-energy" track on the whole album that actually moves me is Undertow. All the main singles off the album sound "strangled" to ...
