I dunno... there's a pretty terrible Roller Derby video still to come...

Re: In slow motion

Greetings, So, they choose Your Early Stuff, Ego Music and Hold On over this. You could not not make it up. Do they pick songs out of a hat for an album? I'm really bored with people dissing the above three songs. They're excellent, particularly Hold on and Your early stuff. Can someone please expla...

Re: Reissues project

That's what I would have thought. It seems a bit of a waste not to include it, particularly as it's a track that not many people will actually have.

Re: Reissues project

Does anyone know the timings and whether there was space to include the short version as well?

Re: Final results of "Rating Project" poll for recently released PSB songs

Lol... your poll is great. The Rating Project is one of my favourite nerdy PSB things. My observation is more about the psychology behind why people would vote in such a way. For the current batch, I think my votes ranged from 1-4, because as good as some of them are, I'd be hard pressed to say that...

Re: Final results of "Rating Project" poll for recently released PSB songs

Not only that Wayne, about 90% of Pet Shop Boys songs are better than the average Pet Shop Boys song according to the survey.

Re: Final results of "Rating Project" poll for recently released PSB songs

There's not much to like about Motoring... it's just sanctimonious preaching, super-imposed over a clumsy and somewhat jarring arrangement.

Re: Reissues project

I've only recently heard the extended version of This Must Be The Place I Waited Years To Leave, is there a reason it wasn't on the Behaviour FL? Space, probably. I assume that's the same reason we also didn't get... We All Feel Better In The Dark Being Boring (7") Seriously? (7") Streets (full len...

Re: *Further* Further Listening

I do note that regarding Elysium's Further Listening set, there is at least one master quality recording omitted... the Olympic mix of West End Girls. As I understand it, this is (at least a partial) re-recording, involving Pet Shop Boys, as opposed to being "remixed" independently of their efforts.

Re: Kazak V Pazzo

I'm entirely ambivalent about both Kazak or Pazzo. Had neither track existed, my world would neither be a worse nor a better place.

Re: *Further* Further Listening

In terms of remixes, my must haves include: - In The Night (Arthur Baker Mix) - It's A Sin (Miami Mix) - Petshoppibone - How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously? (Brothers In Rhythm 12") - Minimal (M Factor Mix) - Love Is A Bourgeois Construct (Penelopes Remix) .... although they wouldn't meet the ...

Re: Reissues project

Hi Daveid,

I actually did a list somewhere on this forum of what could be on it, but I forget now where it was.

You could certainly include the radio edits of Axis, Vocal, Love is a bourgeois construct and Thursday.

There's also some instrumentals lying around...

Retro. :)
