Re: It’s not a family affair: How Pet Shop Boys gave Patsy Kensit her biggest hit with I’m Not Scared

She played a role in a Spanish movie from that time and well she was naked on it. She didn't need to put her clothes on. She was so atractive that I really loved watching her on that way. She was even more attractive knowing she had done a song with PSB. As an hetero teenager was an amazing cock-ta...

Re: Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live At The Royal Arena Copenhagen

Watched in Nottingham last night. It was about half-full. It was quite a mature audience, shall we say. I agree it was too quiet. I had seen All Of Us Strangers in the same cinema two days earlier and the sound was fantastic during the club scene so was a bit disappointed by the lower volume for Dr...

Re: Oversexualized video

'is really sad the way how they go in the same way again and again. We could say the same about your YouTube threads. The video is very decisive and will be a great talking point, good or bad. You have made a topic about it so you think its worth talking about. Sex sells and until pop culture chang...

Re: Back to Parlophone

romy wrote: Wed 31 Jan 2024, 11:31 am What could be the reason, to return to Parlophone?
I guess its mutually beneficial. Parlophone own the Back catalogue up to Elysium and PSB being on the same label again helps promote the old and new releases especially with the greatest hits tour. All this equates into more sales.

Re: Why don't they produce their own albums?

Their self-produced work sounds too demo for me, especially recently. It works better when they produce other artists and bring them into the PSB universe, but when they do themselves .. it's always retro in a slightly more-dated-than-cool kind of way. Album-wise, they definitely need outside talen...

Re: Sleaford Mods cover West end Girls

Really? I recognised London's South Bank, Embankment and St Pancras station It's Trent Bridge and Nottingham train station. The station is red brick, like St Pancras. At 2.11 in the video you can see a sign for EMR - East Midlands Railway. Sleaford Mods are from Nottingham. I know where they are fr...

Re: Live dates - 2024

How will they promote the new record if they're still doing the Hitz tour? Also, do many of these venues have standing tickets? The Human League's recently-announced tour for 2024 is in seated-venues. Annoying - we're not all sixty-six with shit hips. At arenas they only have standing if the artist...
