Re: Mysterious tweet
I think some of you need to accept that Greatest Hits releases aren't aimed at us. They're aimed as the casual listeners currently packing out the Dreamworld tour. There are a lot of people who are generally positive about PSB without having bought all of their releases, and those are the people wh...

Re: Mysterious tweet
Call me weird (fair), but just having a boxset where every single is presented in a uniform way with clear artwork is in itself a lovely thing, even if we have heard or seen it all. CD jewel cases annoy me, and all the different manner of presenting cheaper singles is quite mixed. My dream would be ...

yeah I agree OakeyDokey
A boxset to me would represent a nice way to present to artwork and an opportunity to include commentary and trivia
good for longterm fans and newbies alike

Don't always love the constant topic making, but it's kept the forum active in quieter times.

Re: Living in the past (home demo)
Did they really think the public would enjoy this song? People enjoy Taylor Swift singing "It's me, hi!" This is a song is an observation on a bleak topic, sure. A bit like Shopping, Kings Cross, The last to die, and quite a few others. And judging by the comments, people appreciate it.

Yeah didn't he walk off the set of Rent being filmed? lol
Well he can have his moment. I think Neil was just trying to fill the stage, given it's enormous!

I like any remix that retains the original vibe to some extent - and this does that
Good artists generally, their instrumental EPs are nice, thanks for the find

Hehe, that's quite cute.
Was trying to think of the worst song on the soundtrack, but I quite like them all in a kitschy musical sense.
Maybe Postive Role Model is the most jarring for me.

Re: Was it worth it?
How spoiled we were if we had Was it worth it? as their weakest single. Hard to pick a weakest off Discography, but I guess it'd have to be one of the last two. I'd pick DJ Culture, even though it's a nice addition to the package. Was it worth it? has wonderful final glow for the album as it trails ...

Re: New Album!
I reckon this is something set by the artists, songwriting and vocal delivery. PSB have quite a range of emotion, he'd have to work really hard to stuff that up

I'm just pleased to see them in the studio!
Producer is a secondary thing for me, as they bring a lot of production knowledge themselves. Just always exciting to see them mixing it up.

Also Mr Vain also released in 1993, and also having Nosie Katzmann as a song writer.
But hey, Ab Fab was mostly a fun charity song. Not something they milk.

Re: Will the psb be retiring?
I always felt I Want a Dong to be the point at which their songs became overtly gay. http://s3.amazonaws.com/quietus_production/images/articles/6291/please_1305813369_crop_550x554.jpg or maybe you've just been in denial from day one? Later Tonight set the subject for every longing track on their fi...
