Tracklisting? What makes you say that?

Didn't you follow the train of thought? It was rather much like saying:

- I heard Madonna's out on a tour again. I dunno, I think she might be getting a bit too old to do the kind of show she does.
- But I really DO love the collar of my sweater!

Yeah, I thought about it afterwards....I suppose they will be referring to new songs in the issue, so knowing the track list would help. :)

Re Tracklisting: my guess would be probably yes.

Literally collectors could always check back issues just before album releases (to see if they usually discuss track titles).

Ow. That hurts.

Seems a reasonable piece of speculation at a time when there is no shortage of unreasonable speculation on this board, but what do I know?

They did indeed in Literally 4. I remember it quite well. It was really good because not only was there a track listing, but a discussion of each song as well. It was strange because it meant that I already had thoughts about all the songs at a time when only So Hard had been released. Of course this pre-dated the World Wide Web, so there were no leaks. The information wasn't entirely accurate though as it included Living Legends which (if memory serves) was eventually reworked into Metamorphosis. Also, the discussion about How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously? said several prominent pop/rock stars were mentioned in the song, which subsequently didn't turn out to be true. Perhaps EMI's lawyers had a word after hearing a run through.

Anyway, I hope we get the same thing in Literally 38 for Elysium.
