Wonder if these four new songs will emerge in their demo form on another EP? Seems to be a worthwhile method of releasing themed tracks that otherwise don't fit a full release.

As for The Turing Project there's already a more than acceptable live recording, sure only die hard fans would want it so ideal pre-order, pre-pay exclusive via the official website would ensure it doesn't make a loss and reward fans too.

I'm not sure they're going to release the live recording, as official pardon for Turing has been since extended to other gay people (since 2017 I believe). So they obviously have to revisit the final track.

She mouthing off on Twitter again. This time linking yesterday’s murder of a journalist by The Dissident Republicans to Brexit. FFS.
That's a bit of a leap she made.

Here are my first three ‘Must See’ shows coming to Edinburgh this August.

A few years in the planning, Pet Shop Boys premiere their new musical cabaret featuring club hostess Billie Trix, a character that first appeared in their West End Musical Closer To Heaven.

In Musik, at the Assembly Rooms, (August 5-11, 13-24, 9.40pm), icon, rock star, screen goddess. and drug addict Billie has lived a life of excess and shares it all in her new one-woman show.

Her journey takes us from post-war Berlin to the rock arenas of the world, via the Vietnam war, Andy Warhol’s Factory, and a year in a Soho Square phone box.

Frances Barber reprises the role she created with outrageous script by Jonathan Harvey and six original songs by Pet Shop Boys.

It's difficult when you work shifts including two weekends out of three and with demands on annual leave but to cut a very long story short, it looks like I'll be able to travel up to Edinburgh on Monday 5 August itself and back on Tuesday 6 August before returning to work on the Wednesday. A friend or mine has booked a ticket for me for the first preview and another friend will put me up overnight in Edinburgh. Whoop whoop!!!! Just to make plans for 'My Beautiful Launderette' now and book my Hyde Park ticket on payday and I'm almost back up to speed with the Boys. (Oh haven't watched Inner Sanctum DVD yet but did see the full Killers Glastonbury set on iPlayer).
What's for supper?

Ha, Steve Wright. I bet hes real excited about that.
I always love it when DJs who hated PSB back in their heyday have to do this kind of stuff. Feels like karma.

Heart was played first, then Ich bin Musik. The song is very electronic, can be compared to The loving kind (the chorus only) combined with theatrical showtunes. They only played 1 minute to 1:30. of it, sadly. Story sounds like a bit like Forrest Gump but then with Billie Trix.
