Smile If You Dare book launch on Thurs in Islington - COME

#1 Post by Ramzy »

Hello chaps and non-chaps

Sorry if this ought to go in the meetups section but I thought it had a better shot at being seen in here. Please feel free to move it.

My PSB book Smile If You Dare is being "launched" (which I think means limited quantities of free wine) at Waterstones in Islington Green on Thursday evening. It starts at 6.30pm and there will be copies on sale - as well as a chance to hear me falteringly read out a short passage, presumably in the hope of convincing people not to buy them.

Here's the official invitation, so consider yourselves all invited. There are lots more lovely illustrations in the book. You should buy it for those, and only for those.

Love you all.

Wow looks like a wonderful evening! I'd be there in a HEARTbeat if I were in London! I'll tell my London friends (who don't post here) about it!
Congratulations and all the best on the launch!! :)

Great stuff! If they're interested please ask them to rsvp (address on the invitation) so the shop can get some idea of numbers.

Ditto! I'm in Canada too. But I love the title, cover and idea of your book. Best of luck. And let's hope you really don't need any actual "luck" :)

It's a shame you couldn't have been able to 'launch' the book in a couple of weeks time to coincide with the ROH concerts, thus ensuring plenty of fans in London at the time. Good luck with it all the same..

Good luck - mine is ordered from my local book shop and I look forward to reading it.

My novel is published in September - with a few PSB references - so I wish you all the luck in the world. It's a big undertaking.

Nice one Ramzy! I would come were it not for the fact I live in the wrong hemisphere. I'll definitely be buying it though, sounds intriguing. I hope you've invited Neil and Chris
