Which tour had the best intro?!

#1 Post by PETHEAD72 »

Hi fellow PETHEADS,i'm curious as to which intro from all the tour's has been the most eagerly anticipated, the one that has got you on the 'edge or your seat' on that point where neil and chris are about to emerge.

It's a really tough one for me so am guna say the MCMLXXXIX tour, probably because it was the very first one,i can still remember it very clearly...the secc went absolute mental when the boys emerged kicking off with the awesome 'ONE MORE CHANCE'...the whole build up was just sensational.

I'd just like to add the PANDEMONIUM tour intro comes in at a very close 2nd.

PSB FOREVER.
You got a heart of glass or a heart of stone?

Oi!...got far to go have you?!...

Nightlife the spinning heads with For Your Own Good and the curtains drops when the track is finished and and the boys are there standing, what an entrance!

Another vote for Nightlife.
It was electrifying, when that curtain dropped. And even before the spinning heads and, "For Your Own Good", the show started with a dissonant loud buzzing, and a green electrical EKG sort of pulsating line projected on the curtain for a minute. It was exciting. And when it got to the swirling synths that morphed into West End girls and there was that chime, and the curtain dropped.. oh yeah, that was an entrance I'll never forget. Fantastic. I don't think the DVD or videos of it do it justice, the drama of that entrance live.
