Earlier this month they said that they would announce european summer dates "soon", and so far nothing has happened. I'm somewhat losing the last bit of hope for a proper european tour consisting of mostly non-festival performances. Considering how hard it is for them to sell out even smaller indoor venues, I think they would have to announce their shows at least 4-5 months in advance, which means that the announcement must be imminent. Either that, or they're going for festival performances again, in which case they could announce it on rather short notice.

Come visit New York in April and see the show here! 8)

Still surprised promoters wanted a return in 2014 for the USA, is there any indication on sales? Plus they seem like fairly small venues 2k - 5k. But I am not an expert, perhaps the speed or lack of these tickets will determine later UK dates.

Electric Tour 2014 dates

#36 Post by NikacP0kac » Sat 01 Mar 2014, 4:58 pm

So, it seems the moment we've all (pretty much) been waiting for is coming next week. Any guesses on what the dates will be, where would you like to see the boys perform? Mine are Zagreb, Ljubljana or Budapest.

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

Interesting that the tour isn't really discussed here in the tour forum but in the general one.

Just confirmed, Pori Jazz festival in Finland: http://porijazz.fi/en/
Yay, that's two summers in a row then that the boys visit these parts. Wasn't expecting this at all!

Seriously PSB? Fecking seriously?!

http://www.electricpicnic.ie/tickets1

Confirmed for a date in Ireland,

...but in another festival?

...in the middle of fecking nowhere (6 miles from nearest large town)?

...charging the most expensive prices for first time attendees?

...and tickets are limited to two per person at least (can't buy just one ticket)?

Go screw yourselves. What's wrong with the Olympia Theatre in Dublin?

Amazing location, with fantastic crowd. I saw there Erasure in 2011 and I'd be happy and I'd go that PSB play there, but they choose this strange festival :wall:

I was at that Erasure show too, and yes, I'd love to see them at the Olympia. Fantastic venue.
