I was there yesterday as well...

Think it was a pitty they played such a wonderful show for "only" 2500 people (as someone from the security told me), don't you think? Five more days to go and then... YIHAAA... O2-Arena: here I come!!

Quite sad thing that the Lotto Arena can contain around 7000 people (even if I saw them even in the small Volkshaus in Zürich with around no more than 1.000-1.200 fans). The most important things are that people is been hot and that you've enjoyed.

I was very surprised to see the small number of people at the Lotto Arena. Only 2500. But after the concert I realized it's their second show within 6 months in Belgium. Maybe that's the reason. Because I remember George Michael facing the same 'problem' a few years ago. He played Sportpaleis and few months later he was supposed to play at Werchter but he moved back to Sportpaleis because of low sales numbers.

About the concert. It was a good show. Bit of a weird crowd though. Sound quality sucked as usual in the Lotto Arena. Few remarks about Neil's voice. It didn't sound very natural. My cousin pointed out it's probably been sent through quite some compressors and stuff. Specially during the up tempo songs. During the slows/ballads his voice sounded much better. Also the vocal backingtracks were very obvious sometimes. The fact that Neil sings for real the whole show and not like Madonna and Britney playbacking a bunch of their songs can make it up a little.

In Belgium they don't have a strong, numerous and loyal fanbase like in Germany.

Could you find a link to a French language Belgian newspaper containing some similar review? I`m curious to read a bad review to a PSB concert... I hardly ever read one.
What remains in time
that didn't fade away?

Whar kind of newspaper are these? For example in Italy the biggest newspaper are always critical against PSB 'cos for them only rock exists but if you red some of the few music magazines they often have good words for them.
