Are you going to the show in LAS VEGAS?

I am going to be in Vegas for a car show with my boyfriend that weekend and have decided I want to go to the concert - since the one at the Hammerstein in NYC was so awesome (although the Hammerstein as a venue SUUUCKS) The thing is - I don't have anyone to go with! Is anyone out there going? Does anyone have an extra ticket they want to sell? I know tickets are still available, but the PSB are more fun in groups

I saw them there at the hard rock in las vegas for the nightlife and release tours, i'm seeing them in L.A. at the greek a few days before and was just thinking the other day that maybe I should go.

Tickets were online for $65.00 usd.

We are planning to go to the Vegas trip after the LA show.

Question though...is the Joint a small venue? How big is the so called "floor area"?

I have no idea... I wasn't sure if I should get a floor ticket or not. the floor at the hammerstein is huge! I just hated the standing around to get a good view, especially when I could be out seeing vegas. Did you find out?

You want the seating chart that is second from the right. The Reserved Seating one. I think it's going to be a decent-sized venue.

I just got my tickets today for the vegas show, VIP tickets were sold out so ended up buying some kind of reserved seating on the lower level section 102.

I'm doing the M & G in L.A. and Ive met them back stage after the shows the last three tours so not a huge deal.

Im going with my 13 year old son and his mom.

I took my son to see the release tour at the hard rock and i also saw the nightlife tour there.

The Joint was just remodeled and expanded this year.

When I saw Seal there back in 95 or so, they had small round tables with waitress service was really good.

But for Nightlife and Release it was GA and the second hand smoke from the smokers was soo bad.

Hopefully they improved the exhaust/ air conditing.

Here in california everything is smokeless so its a big difference.

Hopefully we can meet up and say hello.

I'll be attending the Hockey game at the MGM grand at 5:30 The L.A. Kings vs. the Colorado Avalanche then heading out to the Concert, hopefully the concert starts well after 9.

My sons mom bought the tickets today and said that she was told that there is a DJ scheduled to play before the boys come on.

Also the last two times I saw the PSB at the Hard Rock, they stayed at the hotel, and you could see them wandering around the Casino and grounds, also around the left side loading area they come out of the venue from there and you can get autographs sometimes.

For Nightlife tour they headed out to see the Cirque show O at Bellagio then returned and partied at the club in the basement, it was halloween 1999 and Chris and Dainton as well as the crew were there.

After the Release tour they headed out to the venetian hotel to take pictures and stuff.

Who knows what they'll do this time, I'll be curious to know.

I've never met them, I couldn't believe I couldn't take pictures at the meet and greet, so I returned my M&G stuff and got my money back. I work in the 'biz (although in urban music) and I've never seen that before. I was incredibly disappointed. I've never had the opportunity to meet them and would like to - their music inspired me to become an audio editor/engineer. I'm glad to hear so many people had positive experiences - although I had tickets to the Atlantic City show and if Neil had been sour to me I probably would've said "I paid $200 for this 5 minutes, you'd better be nice" and gotten thrown out. I'll let you know where my seat is when I get it!

I had only met them twice, and both were in the Meet & Greet situation. It is TRUE that we are not allowed to take pictures, and I *have* to conclude this was on the request of the Pets. AND though I haven't been attending much of concerts at all that involved M&G, I recall NKOTB and MC Hammer allowed it (or they had no other option, I don't know!).

Yet, I have to say this about Neil and Chris - I SENSE their sincerity! I met them only twice, and yet I can sincerely FELT that they were genuine both times. When Chris was jumping up and down like a ten-year-old with ADHD... he was GENUINELY feeling euphoric. I could feel it like hot steam on my face. I did not get the impression he was acting, it was genuine.

The same was true for Neil's mood in Atlantic City. At LEAST, I felt I sensed it - he was in more somber mood than he was when I saw him before, at Washington DC. But again, it was a SINCERE mood. I sensed that Neil was coming across reserved and withdrawn because he WAS feeling withdrawn at the time!

As much as I WOULD (DoH!) MUCH rather be greeted with smile and more warmth - and I WAS cheering on when Neil finally cracked a laughter (when I was leaving the M&G area!), I feel I CANNOT in all good conscience, DEMAND that from him! That would make it phony and insincere -- which is AGAINST everything I had been admiring for the past twenty-odd years from Pet Shop Boys!

In easy terms, I guess I am saying I much rather them being sincere with their feelings when they see me walking through that M&G door again - even if it means being grumpy or sour - than for either one of them to put on a fake act for me! I care too much to allow that to happen, let alone DEMAND an fake act for MY benefit!

I don't know why I am taking this position - BUT maybe... JUST MAYBE, I felt I've been considering Neil and Chris as my big brothers since I was listening to "Later Tonight" back in High School days. I came to 'accept' (for lack of better words) - that my "Brothers" are not perfect, and therefore, I am not feeling 'threatened' by the fact that they're "not perfect."

They are just as "imperfect" as I am - only more entertaining! And I will always admire Neil and Chris for their sincerity!
