West End girls argument!
I don't believe a word about a picture disc. As for saying Neil or Chris don't own one, they never knew Intro clear vinyl existed until I showed them. Imagine what else they don't know about?!
The picture disc issue was that EMI were to release one but decided at the last minute to scrap the whole idea. There is not an official PSB vinyl picture disc, never has been and I doubt there ever will be.

Goodness! This thread brings back memories.
I've not seen my mate who has one in years, but I'll see if I can get hold of him and get him to take a picture if he still has it. From what I remember it's basically a print of the standard 7" sleeve.

Authenticity? No idea, but it looked very nice.

From an old Music Master catalogue... Yes, EMI did definitely list it as available for the shops to order at some point, and it looks like it wasn't 'deleted' until '88!

Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning.

Hi Pod! Just noticed this thread, sadly I've lost touch with him, I've not being getting a reply from his email address. I'll see what I can do but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Hi Redsock - no worries! Just thought I'd resurrect the thread on the off chance.

There WAS a 7" picture disc scheduled for release on 16/12/1985 as a push to get the song to number 1. This WAS NEVER released, even though there was a catalogue number.
The song made it to number one a couple of weeks later anyway.
