VLC always does the trick.
Re: Got nostalgic for the days of CD-Roms on CD singles today.
You know this isn't social media, right?
You don't post "hey I did this today! Thanks bye". In Facebook it says "What's on your mind?" encouraging meaningless self centered posts. Myspace, the groundbreaking hallmark of social media before Facebook and others would have a main page that says "What are you doing right now?" which is an active invitation to just post out in the open what you're up to when you see the site.
DO NOT confuse fan forums for social media sites. There is no need to come here and just say "hey guys I'm scratching my ass today". You need to provide something meaningful that is open for discussion.
Anyway to contribute, I did this too recently.
See this:

It's a point and click, it brings up a couple of things.
There's nothing unique or special in it though.

Happy people... living in a Sage world.
Re: Got nostalgic for the days of CD-Roms on CD singles today.

Wow! Why type a whole novel ??

Don't worry I also got the special Sage treatment recently too. Emphasis on 'special'

BTW I saw a bird fly past my window earlier. Just wanted to share

Re: Got nostalgic for the days of CD-Roms on CD singles today.
I call that Sage has learnt his lesson as Science Guy and I claim my prize!
To continue the social media theme the highlight of my day is that I ate some chocolate earlier, it was whole nut. Which isn't a comment on previous posters... But what's your favourite chocolate?

And at the end/ Your funny Uncle staring / At all your friends / With military bearing

Moderator Note: Sage taking a 7-day trip to the It's A Sin Bin for repeated, incessant anti-social passive aggressive posts despite prior warnings.Sage wrote: ↑Fri 19 Mar 2021, 8:39 am You know this isn't social media, right?

Sheesh, Quicktime, which was ironically titled if ever an application was, brings me back. I can almost hear the dial-up as I type...toasterinthebath wrote: ↑Thu 18 Mar 2021, 11:21 pm [imgPet Shop Boys CD Rom.png][/img]

That noise really dates the track. It hasn't aged well. Funny because even tracks on Please are pretty timeless.Drico One wrote: ↑Fri 19 Mar 2021, 5:25 pmSheesh, Quicktime, which was ironically titled if ever an application was, brings me back. What other PSB tracks do we deem poorer through the ages by dint of their lyrical/musical content? On Social Media is just about still on point but I bet in 5 to 10 years it'll have aged badly...

While we're on this nostalgic topic, my copy of the Before CD-Rom does not include the video (or will not play it.)
Have any of you experienced this?
