If it remains on the shelf and you only play the digital copy you have made from it, then why not purchasing directly the digital files online and be environmentally responsible not asking for extra cardboard and plastic ?
There's plenty of reasons, mostly personal. One can play them whenever you want, make a copy and put them on your computer/mp3 player/phone. Read the booklet, which in this case is quite extensive, always fun. What happens if your harddisk crashes in 10 or 15 years and you need to find those tracks again?

They posted the Girls & Boys cover on YouTube to promote the release.

A blues would be in B flat, pain defining wisdom,
but the soul is in the high hat, programmed in the system.

And it's a Parlophone release, not x2.
NTSC?? Oh well...maybe that´s the original format it was recorded..if yes..fine. But if it was recorder on PAL, then we missed the chance to get it on the best possible quality (because NTSC image sixe is smaller than PAL..and an extra trascoding is needed to change formats...)

edit: answering my own question..after analizing the youtube videos frame rate, I see they´re on 25fps, and no frame interlacing is visible, so PAL must be the native format. So bad if we get only a trascoded-interlaced NTSC version! :(
This is not my signature.

Neil got the title wrong. Always putting boys first.

Girls & Boys really does sound like a PSB song.

Agreed, and both the staging and the song itself seem a bit flat. It could have been better as a medley, perhaps.

Retro. :)

Any idea where your friend ordered from? PSB store hasn't shipped mine yet, release date is a week today, 23 April.

Greetings,

It's a bit disappointing it's not yet on the JB Hi-Fi website here in Australia. That's where I got the equivalent Inner Sanctum release from. Might need to start looking around for alternative distributors.

Retro. :)
