Really hoping that 2021 marks the start of the end of Covid-19, as (in this arsehole-run country, certainly) we're back to it being pretty much as bad as it ever was. It's boring, tiring and a constant worry on so many levels.

Here's to a much better 2021. Fingers crossed!

Talking about the UK?
Don't forget the internet is global.

Here in Australia they've eased restrictions and it's much more "happy people living in a sad world" than "is it enough to live and hope that one day we'll be free". Though just today after 60 days clean they've detected a couple of community cases....
Anyway I'm expecting 2021 to be better. Concerts are being booked "promises made and deals that were dealt".
A third vaccine has passed approvals so I can imagine things getting better. Soon we won't be saying "tell them there's no magic cure for how we are, certainly not behind prison bars" and more like "there where the air is free, we'll be want we want to be".

Covid hasn't been completely boring IMO, there have been virtual concerts. Maybe because I'm not an extrovert I don't rely on person to person contact to bring me joy. Though I was going out at least once a week at the start of the year before this all happened and that was pretty fun!

Anyway I'm rambling.

Yes, the UK. A country I'm embarrassed to be part of these days.

50,000 new Covid cases yesterday and 981 deaths. Shocking, shameful and terribly sad.

I'm booked to see A-ha again. Already re-arranged to May from the original date of November. I can see the possibility of another re-arrangement given how badly the virus is being dealt with here.

Anyway, as I said, hopefully 2021 is better for us all.

At least you've got your vaccines ready. Our government thinks the market will handle this and thos is why we get the vaccine last in Europe.
