Bruce Springsteen: "I love Pet Shop Boys"

#1 Post by Nickname »

“I love the Pet Shop Boys!” Bruce @springsteen plays two PSB songs on his latest @SIRIUSXM radio show.

Springsteen’s ‘Hits of the Week’. He picks up "It's a Sin" and "Go West".

“I love the Pet Shop Boys! They did a beautiful cover of ‘Last to Die.’ Let’s go for two! I’m dancin’! This is ‘Go West.’ ”

I enjoy the reaction to this on Facebook, people are pretty keen and there's a huge amount of crossover in the fanbase.
Personally I'm hardly familiar with Bruce Spingsteen. Did he do Summer Of '69??
Anyway people are speculating whether this will lead to a collaboration of some kind. Maybe it will.

I just wanna say I prefer the Pet Shop Boys, with the The.
I mean do you call the Beatles just beatles?
I don't want to say I'm really into boys, I'm into an electronic duo called The Pet Shop Boys.
Without the the it sounds like a general term.

You're thinking of Bryan Adams. Bruce Springsteen was in fact best known for singing "Baby One More Time".

Which of "the" PSBs' releases has a *The* at the start of the artist credit? Most (if not all?) of The Beatles' did.
