The unreleased single version of "It comes as a suprised"?
This was posted in youtube, and it suggests again that "It comes like a surprised" was planned as a single release in 2007. I think it is actually an official unreleased version, not a fan made. At least, my impression is that it is necessary to access to the multitrack to made this remix single version. What do you think?

You would have thought that an unreleased radio remix would have been put on the Bilingual Reissue.
It's also just over four minutes long, and normally I would think a radio mix would be just under 4 minutes.
But it seems like a good remix. So who knows.

It does sound well done and so it's possible it was legit. We will have to ask Neil and Chris at some point.

Neil in Bilingual Reissues sleeve notes:
So, that could, in theory, be one of those "not good" edits.I wanted this to be the first single off the album but Chris wouldn’t have it. We could never work out a good edit of it, anyway.
Re: The unreleased single version of "It comes as a suprised"?
Pacalo's channel on Youtube has some filtered PSB capellas, so I would've guessed he managed to do this non official edit the same way.

I like the song, but I don't see how this version is in any way more radio friendly.

well..official or not, it´s almost 2 minutes shorter than the album version!

Surely "It Always Comes As A Surprise" was planned as a single, and there was an official promo of the song:

Official promo from South America doesn´t prove that. Unless a special radio version would be on it, but that´s not the case.andmaste wrote: ↑Wed 04 Nov 2020, 4:47 pm Surely "It Always Comes As A Surprise" was planned as a single, and there was an official promo of the song:

Anyway, one of the most sought after rarities.

Capitalised first letters of each word?
'Red Letter Day'? What's that? I know they released a song called 'A red letter day'....

Yes, I noticed that things too! That promo is a legit Brazilean release...but I guess it was decided just by the local leg of the record company. So they tried to respect the PSB design of the moment for the promo single (that was a good thing!)...but the local designer wasn´t aware of some "PSB capitalization rules" and also mistaked some details when making the final design...Ghost within this house wrote: ↑Thu 05 Nov 2020, 2:55 pm Capitalised first letters of each word?

Great tune, would've been a good choice instead of Bilingual in my opinion

Presumably you mean 1997 not 2007astrocordoba wrote: ↑Tue 03 Nov 2020, 11:12 pm This was posted in youtube, and it suggests again that "It comes like a surprised" was planned as a single release in 2007.
