Does Neil have a make-up-covered black eye in that West End girls 5/12/85 TOTP performance? Check out around 1m55s.

Chris on the drums Opportunities TOTP 5/6/86. What does he look like? And that drummer's pout!

He actually introduces one of the performances!

"Later Tonight" is just incredible...and LIVE. I have never seen this.

So this performance was not on the "Ultimate" expanded compilation DVD portion?

All that hair!
Three of them playing live… Blue Weaver behind the wall of TVs, IIRC.

When did Chris stop gyrating at the keyboard?
I'm thinking he only did it during Please

Why does Chris change keyboards on Love Comes Quickly? It is so ridiculous.

He didn’t sign the TOTP rerun agreement and shortly died after. So the BBC have honoured his wish and have not repeated any episode that was presented by him.
It’s a shame because to the casual listener, it lumps him in with the Saville and DLT episodes.

I can only assume these BBC performances are from PSB own personal archive as I can't see how they would be allowed to show the Mike Smith appearances if these were licenced directly from the BBC. It may also explain why they aren't in HD.

Re: PSB at the BBC
I love watching the evolution of the audiences and how they all dance during the various "West End Girls" performances...cool 80s outfits and hair and when they performed on the "Top of the Pops" show where "West End Girls" made #1..it is very telling. I bet so many people in the audience were personal friends of theirs...total upgrade in 80s outfits and hair.
On a side note, I never went to any of their "Top of the Pops" performances...I was too young still stuck in America. I probably could have since I spent many summers in the 1980s in London. Wasn't paying attention, I guess. Did anyone here ever go to any of their "Top of the Pops" shows??!!!??

Very nice! These are better quality than the Ultimate DVD. I'm also very pleased at no annoying watermarks.
