We all feel better in the dark (after hours climax)
Of course! One of my all time favourite and I forgot about it.
I’m not sure I’ve ever gotten to the end of Disco 2 so I’m not sure I even knew this gem was there! The ONLY PSB album I never play.
That mix is mislabeled on Disco 2: it is actually the other one, "ambient", not "after hours climax". Both are great.

I don't hear too much difference between the Ambient and After Hours Climax mixes. Both are very similar to my ears.. A bit like the two mixes of Flourescent for RSD sound quite similar.. (In my opinion..)

They definitely can easily be told one from the other: "after hours climax" has drums, "ambient" doesn't. You must be listening to the wrong/mislabeled source. I suggest you check the original media they come from.

I have the Being Remixed CD. I've played both mixes countless times over the years. I'm aware they are different but to me they just sound too similar. That is all. Peace.

Thats logical, it’s an ambient mix of the After Hours Climax mix.

I've never liked DJ Culture - it all feels a bit busy and fey. It's not relay single material in my opinion. It wouldn;t even have fitted an album - Behaviour is the nearest, but it's still an odd song of theirs.

But the DJ Culturemix by the Grid is FAR better.

I believe it even reached no.40 in charts of its own accord?

Yes. It did. Back in the early 90s they changed the rules on what was chart eligible. I think at the time of DJ Culture that only 4 formats counted towards chart positions (7” 12” CD single and cassette). So when the remix 12” was released, they also released it as a CD single and cassette and so it reached number 40 on its own accord.
is is and isnt isnt

I'm not sure this counts, but the extended 12" version of Was it worth it? is way better than the single mix. The sub-bass in the break is room-shakingly ace.

Taking "original" as either the 7", or album version (otherwise we'd be here all day)

How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously? (12")
The Resurrectionist (Goetz B)
Dreamland (PSB Remix)
Love is a Bourgeois Construct (The Penelopes Remix)
Suburbia (The Full Horror)
In The Night (Arthur Baker 12")
Vocal (JRMX Club Mix)
Did You See Me Coming? (PSB Possibly More 12")
I Want A Dog (Frankie Knuckles / Introspective)

Me too. I’ve always loved this mix and listen to it loads. Always lifts my mood.
