I am not big on remixes....I do however love when they remake their tunes.....such as the piano version of London, or revamp an older song and make it new like "if looks could kill" and round it out with a few new tunes.

I listen to the remixes on all these disco albums and for the life of me I just cant figure out what Neil and Chris are thinking by letting some of these mixes get precious real estate on their Disco albums.

Yes, it has been a weird few years for remixes. I had such high hopes for Burn....

I feel that Disco 5 should be either of the following

OPTION 1 (Demos of songs released by other artists)

1. The Loving Kind (A version that isn’t The Monitor Mix)
2. Diddly Squat (All Or Nothing) (Demo for Miyuki Motegi)
3. Occupy Your Mind (Demo for Dusty)
4. I Can’t Say Goodnight (Demo for Liza)
5. Baby (Demo for Alcazar)
6. For Every Moment (Demo for Alcazar & Billie)

OPTION 2 (Mixes from the Stuart Price album Trilogy)

Mixes from the Electric/Super/Hotspot albums and potentially The Lost Room and Collectors Item considering they have revealed that they came close to releasing Collectors Item on Agenda.

It's 14 years since Disco 4 (1986-1994-2003-2007). Maybe that ship has sailed.....

Sailed? It's the Mary Celeste of Pet Shop Boys releases: presumed lost, largely forgotten, but vaguely salvageable.

I like to imagine, when raised from the depths, it contains a perfectly preserved excerpt from Neil's diary and a sealed E-Smoove mix of Liberation, mysteriously undisturbed after all these years. Or maybe without the mysterious bit.
