Hints in interview about PSB early days

#1 Post by telys »

Neil is interviewed in The Guardian after the triumphant best nr 1 achievement.

"We recorded three other songs in an hour and a half", he says about what followed immediately after the '84 recording of West End girls. Which three?

There is also mentioning of the very first version of West End girls, the one done in Camden with completely different music to the rap. Has this been heard by anyone?

On the About CD, Neil mentions on their return from NYC, he played "Opportunities" & "Pet Shop Boys" to his chums in Smash Hits. but was too embarrassed to play "West End Girls"
The next chap, David Bostock says he loved "One More Chance"
